Copenhagen Cardi Knit Pattern

The Copenhagen Cardigan is knit flat from the top down with raglan increases. The neckline is shaped with short rows. The cardigan is knit in stockinette stitch, with a vertical rib along the front edges for the button bands. The buttonholes are worked at the end (so you do not need to work them as you knit the button band). As an extra detail, the Copenhagen Cardigan features inside pockets. The sleeves are knit in the round in stockinette stitch either on double pointed needles (dpns) or on circular needles using Magic Loop technique.

Ease: This pattern is designed to have about 6-11 cm of positive ease.

Measure the widest part of your bust and select the size above that is about 6-11 cm larger.

Gauge: 21 stitches x 28 rows to 10cm in Stockinette Stitch on 4.00mm needles after blocking

Yarn:

One strand of 4ply / Fingering Weight Yarn held together with one strand of 2ply / Lace Weight Yarn. Alternatively, you could use one strand of 8ply / DK / Light Worsted Weight Yarn
