INSPIRATION - Colour Block Throw by Crochet Birdie

I love giving handcrafted gifts and weddings are a great chance to gift something of considerable size.

I slow-hooked this stunning Colour Block Throw for my childhood friend from Kindy and his lovely new bride.

I teamed 3 different brands of 8 ply yarn, something that's a little rogue in the slowcraft world, but you know me, I'm not a fan of sticking to the rules.

From top to bottom, I used:

Albertine in Quarry Ridge

Touch Yarns in Oatmeal

Orb in Stone, and

Orb in Sprout

It's made up of two granny squares. Then some granny stripes worked on one side.

The result is a simple but striking piece that'll keep them snug for years to come.

If you're ready to create a timeless piece for you or a loved one you can grab the pattern here

A FREE pattern is always included with a kit worth of yarn purchased from Needle & Hook.

Drop me a comment and let me know what your go-to make is for a gift.

xx Birdie
