Granny Masterclass Crochet Pattern

This pattern shows you how I make gorgeous multicoloured granny squares and joining them as you go.

Feel free to play with colours or use up your scraps. There are no rules.

The blanket pictured has over 20 colours.

I recommend sticking with similar yarn types, like all merino or all wool, so that the squares all wear similar over time.

One - Three round square = approx 8cm x 8cm

YARN REQUIREMENTS:

8ply / DK / Light Worsted yarn

Meterage: 100m

MATERIALS NEEDED:

4.00mm crochet hook or size to obtain gauge

8ply yarn in any and many colours

Yarn needle

Tape measure

Scissors
